Created in collaboration with professional basketball player Rui Hachimura, this iconic watch with a futuristic look is both durable and timeless.
With a case inspired by the GBM-2100, the watch features a metal bezel, a Tough Solar charging system, and a Bluetooth® connection. Touches of red, a signature color of the G-SHOCK brand, evoke Rui Hachimura's passion for sports and enhance the golden color of the dial, which is itself adorned with a pattern inspired by basketball courts.
The black band offers a striking contrast with the dial and thus enhances the design, for a watch that exudes a sense of focus and strength.
Hachimura's original logo, which consists of the symbol 八 ("hachi" in Japanese, meaning "eight"), is engraved on the back of the case while the side button at (the 8 o'clock) position is laser-engraved with the hachi symbol. These symbols, along with others inspired by Hachimura, are scattered throughout the model and pay tribute to this true global legend of basketball.
Like all G-SHOCK watches, the watch is shock-resistant, and its sharp, sporty, and fearless design perfectly embodies Hachimura's spirit.

Rui Hachimura
He was born on February 8, 1998, in Toyama Prefecture, Japan. After graduating from Meisei High School in Miyagi in 2016, Hachimura attended Gonzaga University in the United States. As a member of the Gonzaga University basketball team, he became the first Japanese citizen to participate in a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) tournament. Hachimura received the 2018-2019 Julius Erving Award, which honors the best collegiate small forwards of the year. He then made history by becoming the first player born in Japan to be drafted into the NBA. He was selected to play at the 9th position by the Washington Wizards in 2019. In 2023, Hachimura joined the Los Angeles Lakers.
